When we redo Aloha Stadium, can we remember that today’s world has changed from the one that saw the original construction (“New Aloha Stadium may be ready in 2023, firm says,” Star-Advertiser, Sept. 12)?
We didn’t have the same security concerns, or flying drone technology. Could someone fly a weaponized drone into the stadium?
Some days are hotter, and their frequency and time of year they occur seems to have shifted. For afternoon games, it is better to sit on the side of the stadium cast in shadow.
Please, before we spend more money, can we make sure that the folks designing the new stadium remember the context, not just play with a model built with computer-assisted design?
